Så diagnostiseras refluxsjukdom hos barn

Refluxsjukdom hos barn diagnostiseras normalt utgående från deras symtom, men det finns en rad undersökningar som kan utnyttjas (t ex röntgen med bariumlösning i magen, en så kallad Milk Scan, registrering av pH i matstrupen, eller en endoskopi) [5].

Om spädbarnet eller barnet svarar på behandlingen kan vidare undersökningar vara onödiga, om inte läkaren har anledning tro att ytterligare något medicinskt tillstånd föreligger.
